Together with other ELCA Lutherans in our conference, Bethany members are invited to help out at the U.P. State Fair Water Tent the week of August 15th through August 21st. Bethany will be staffing the tent on Thursday, August 18th. Shifts we still need covered are: one person for 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM and three people for 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Each volunteer will sell bottled water and treats and maintain cleanliness of our area. Volunteers get free passes to enter the fair.

We are also in need of individually wrapped cookies and bars to sell on the day we staff the tent. 3 X 3 inch sized bars or cookies work best. Please avoid heavy frosting as it melts on hot days. If nuts are used, you must mark each individually wrapped item appropriately.
