Second Church
Built in 1892, this second Bethany church was recognized for its “freak steeple,” measuring 175 feet high.
Christmas Worship Service (1910)
Chapel
Built in 1905, this chapel (now Christ the King) was used for weekday worship, Sunday School, and other church organizations. The chapel cost $900 at the time of building.

Don Aronson (1946)
Longtime Bethany organist Don Aronson during his first year playing the organ at Bethany. Don served as our organist for 73 years before retiring in late 2019.

Illustrated by Birgit Ruotsala, this image served as the cover for the Lutheran Church Women’s performance of “A Ladies Aid Committee Meeting.” This one-act play was written by Elin Aronson and performed in celebration of Bethany’s centennial.
